One-legged deadlift
share it: digg | stumbleupon | del.icio.us (what are these?)
This is definitely one to try out when no-one’s looking - especially if your balance is anything like mine. As the name suggests, this is a normal two-handed deadlift, with the only difference being that only one foot is in contact with the ground at any time. And no, resting the other foot on top of the first is not allowed.

Ready to bend some steel? Grab a copy of the Diesel Crew's Bending eBook. Superb.

Oh the looks I could get and questions I could generate if I started doing these. First he brought those boards in, then doing those wierd ghr’s on the lat pulldown machine, now he’s only using one leg. I think it’s time to revoke his membership…

Next time there’s no-one around, give them a go. Much harder than they look (it’s a bit weird using leg drive with only one leg).

Interesting…maybe I’ll do this when I get some weights at home!

Sounds good - it’s a bit too weird looking for the gym (but it is actually quite difficult).
Any closer to getting a home gym setup?

I’ll try them at the gym. I dont think people could think I’m any more strange. We are constantly doing something that looks weird and walking around in bench shirts and squat suits(not me yet). I’m not there to be cool ;)
Scott I like the new look. Nice color combo, I like green :)
