Still mixing

I’ve noticed over the past month or so that whenever a bit more space is needed in the house, the garage begins to fill up shortly afterward. Unfortunately there really isn’t anywhere else for stuff to go.

Whilst this has meant sporadic weight training, it has also made the bodyweight workouts a little more than a passing interest. I’m still coming to terms with the basis of Matt Furey’s ‘Royal Court’, which certainly feels as though it’s paying dividends.

Now, if I can get the hang of some of the other exercises he likes to push, notably handstand push-ups…

I am not cordinated enough to do handstand push-ups, but they do sound very interesting to do!

Have you tried them at all? How far did you get?

No I haven’t tried them. I’m sure I’d go crashing into the wall trying to even get up. :) I might do them when I’m feeling really adventuresome!

Handstand pushups… wow. From someone who barely has the balance to manage a lunge that’s like the holy grail.

It sounds like some kind of even eviller yoga.

Clear all furniture and sharp objects out of your way before trying these. Inevitably you’ll come crashing down on them if you don’t.
