An extended warmup

Having inadvertently slept on a two-seater couch last night, I awoke this morning feeling decidedely stiff and sore. In order to get a bit of blood pumping and hopefully return to a ‘normal’ state it was time for a combination of warmup work and cardio. With a brief ab session thrown in for good measure.

Squat 2×20@20/44, supersetted with Front squat 2×20@20/44
Side bend (plate) 4×10@20/44
Various other ab work
Light stretching
Bike (around 15 min)

Ah, that did the trick. Ready now for a late workout using more than just the bar :)

Boy, computer problems. Those scare me to death as everything’s on the box.

I see your higher reps here. I’ll have to look up some of these exercises you are doing. Always good to get new ideas.

Computer problems are frustrating at the time, but they never seem too bad afterward. Thankfully I didn’t lose too much data this time; and I went out today and grabbed a USB pen drive (just a tiny 128mb thing) for keeping day-to-day stuff on. Anything major is already backed up on DVDs.

The higher reps are for a couple of months or so. I want to switch between bulking and power phases, and 12 rep sets seem about right at the moment. As for the exercise selection, most of them are linked on the exercises pages in the sidebar - if you find any you’re not sure about, let me know.
