Whether you're enjoying a session in the home gym, local park or somewhere a little more commercial; make sure you're wearing one of these.
Happy New Year all. I suspect I’m not alone in making a couple of health and fitness resolutions; chief among them a cleaner diet and a few PRs. What’s everyone else aiming for in 2006?
Oh, and a quick spot of deadlifting to help wake up this morning :
Rack pull (knee height, sumo) 20@20/44, 2×10@60/132, 2×10@100/225

I’ll post my year end summary and new goals in a few weeks. As with you I’m looking forward to a year of pr’s.

What, nobody is willing to actually post their goals here? Or even link to the specific posts that talk about them? Heheh, funny.
I do not make new year’s resolutions as I believe that they are worthless; I’d rather fix something when I realise it is a problem (or when I just decide I would like something to be different). I do not need an annual reminder to reevaluate as I do that on a semiregular basis already (every 3-5 weeks).
One of my goals this coming year is to run a marathon in under 2 hours and 50 minutes. I would like around 2:45, but 2:50 for my fall marathon is the slowest I am going to be willing to go.

I usually make fairly sweeping resolutions - like ‘I intend to get fit this year’ and then spend a few weeks really sorting out what that means. I’m still in the sorting out phase.
