At the risk of sounding as though I’m in some sort of confessional, it’s been 4 days since my last workout. Itching for iron vs time pressures - 10 minutes of benching it was then.

Personally, I like the confessional nature.
As for time between workouts, four days is not what you would hope. The small workout like you did here can be a good substitute curative against forced absence.

Mini workouts are great. Most people, if they only had 10 minutes to workout, would do jack shit thinking that it would be worthless. A few spread out throughout the week does wonders.

I agree. I quite often do mini workouts like this - and it certainly helps; especially on really busy days.
