The home gym just got a lot more interesting.

The Gymboss is a superb interval timer. As Jim noted :
'20 seconds never felt so long, 10 seconds never so short, and four minutes never so painful.'
Love it.
NB : I highly recommend all of these.

So, a series around how you use this thing might be interesting to see. I’ve always sort of wondered how these stack up, minus the hype of people trying to sell you an e-book on their amazing kettel bell training regimen. Short videos might not be bad.

Nice photo Scott…what did you take that picture with? It’s got a nice bokeh to it. My sigma 24-70 2.8 should be arriving today. :) Can’t wait to get out and take some pictures with it.
I agree with Bud. I’d like to see what you end up doing with this. I’ve thought about getting one or a couple of them as well and add them into my supplement workouts with the sandbags. For now I’ll just use dumbbells.

I second that, keep us posted on what way you swing that black fellar. It’s funny, just yesterday I also thought about getting myself a kettle bell for the summer. Any plans on getting back into regular powerlifting training? Those old PRs deserve no mercy.

Bud + Kris, it’s a great little thing, and I’ll be doing plenty of writing (and hopefully video) of it in the future. It’s certainly great to be swinging iron around again (even just 16kg of it) after a bit of a break. Unfortunately I’ll have to wait a few more weeks for the stuff from the UK to arrive, so it’s a Total Gym/Kettlebell one-two for now.
Chris, thanks. The only camera I’m using at the moment is the Canon Eos 10D, with a 70-200 2.8 lens. That’s a great lens; though the USM and IS make it a pricey thing. Worth every penny if you can get your hands on one.

Scott - 70-200 is a great lens. My old man’s got one and he loaned it to me for awhile…I should have kept it. The sigma I got is pretty good as well. I need to experiment with it a bit.

Chris, have you got any test shots online? I’m keen to see how it performs.
