Christian Thibaudeau discusses a great set of exercises - both new and not-so-new - in his latest piece on T-Nation. The Lumberjack Squat looks great.

Cheers Tai. That reverse squat looks great - I’m interested to see how you work it in to your usual squat routine.

So let me get this straight, you use the bar for resistance, meaning that you contract your posterior chain to pull yourself to the ground, fighting the forces of the bar? That’s what I got, but I’m going to feel kinda stupid doing that in the gym with lots of people around. Hey got a new one for you, using resistance band looped around your neck and under your feet, do some deadlifts, the higher you go, the harder you pull.
