The Fast 5 Diet
share it: digg | stumbleupon | del.icio.us (what are these?)
Although I’m not exactly looking to lose weight (gain, actually), I’m intrigued by the various approaches to fat loss. In a recent comment, Clay mentioned the Fast-5 Diet (there’s a free eBook there explaining the concept) - has anyone tried this?

Ready to bend some steel? Grab a copy of the Diesel Crew's Bending eBook. Superb.

I’ve tried this and am still doing it. It is working really well. It fits in to life surprising ly easily. I am leaning out too.
I’ve put several posts about this on my blog - search for fasting - e.g.

Scott, we’ve been talking about it in the davedraper.com forum and a number of us have been on some type of modified fast much of the summer.
Here’s a comprehensive thread on intermittent fastingfor your readers who may be looking for a volume of information, research and opposing viewpoints.

Cheers Laree, there’s some excellent information there. I have a few friends interested in this diet, and I’ll be sure to point them your way. Thanks.

I’m on a diet called the the warrior diet which follows the same idea as the fast 5 diet. The diet really works. I’m leaning out like never before, although I haven’t lost too much weight (10 lbs in 2 months) primarily because I don’t want to loose the weight I just want to lean out, so I have to adjust by eating more during my 1 meal a day. For those out there trying to lose weight this is the diet to follow. You don,t have to restrict yourself of anything you want to eat as long as you eat it all in your 1 meal of the day and then don’t eat anything until the next day. I eat my 1 meal at 8 pm every day then I just relax and go to sleep around 10 pm. In two months I have gone from 245lbs with 19% bodyfat to 235lbs with 12% bodyfat and I still leaning out.
