Kettlebell Beakers: 88-pound ketttlebell hanging on each side of the bar, x6, x6, x6. Basically you do a regular bench rep, then a rep off a 3-board, then a regular bench rep, back and fourth. Hard. We tried to bench the 88s hanging from bands and we nearly got killed. I was laughing so hard I nearly fell down.
Love it.

I think they came from the book “The Tao of B” by Glen Buechlein. You are supposed to do 10s, I couldn’t get 10.
The KBs were just put on the bar via the handle. Try benching heavy KBS like that hanging from bands, but for your throats sake get a good spotter. Be prepared to laugh your ass off at the shaking that is going to happen!

Cheers Rick, that book looks great (just grabbing a copy now, in fact).
Quick question - did you put collars on either side of the bells to lock them down a bit, or were they just hanging on the bar?

Yes, we put the KBs on first, then the spring collars on to secure them.
