I've been using AuctionAds for a while now, most notably on my strength-training site Straight to the Bar. With their recent purchase by MediaWhiz has come a great deal of speculation regarding possible improvements. They can, however, be extremely effective as they are; with a little optimisation, that is.

Specialising in half-frames
I'm currently surrounded by piles of books, cameras and assorted paraphernalia ready for their relegation to eBay. After a little thought, I decided to focus on the particular aspect of camera-collecting which initially drew me in to this strange world - Half-Frames. These were cameras made largely in 1960s Japan (most notably by Olympus) which squeezed two photos into a single 35mm negative; instantly doubling the number of photos you could take (not to mention reducing their quality somewhat). Beautiful things.
