Spreading the Word

One of the biggest things you can do to support this site (for free) is to spread the word. Tell other people about the articles you like, and point them to your favourite videos.

The three 'share it' links beneath each heading - digg, stumbleupon and delicious - are simply ways to quickly share the post. Although they work in slightly different ways, the end result is the same; a greater number of readers, and a greater number of people being exposed to the world of strength training. Always a good thing.

If you're already using Digg, Stumbleupon or Delicious; great. Your votes are certainly appreciated. For everyone else, here's a quick guide to setting up an account and using these sites :

Digg

Digg is a news site, where the members contribute the stories. Because of this, there's a wide range of topics discussed - including strength training.

To set up an account (free), head over to digg.com. Click the 'Join Digg' link in the upper left, and follow the instructions. It's nice an quick.

Once you're set up, it's easy to use. Whenever you see an article, photo or video you enjoy, click the digg link beneath the posts's title. Sometimes this will be in the form of a counter (see pic at left).

Stumbleupon

This is a site which allows you to find - Stumble Upon - new content. Whenever you come across an article you like, it can quickly be marked as worthy of sharing.

To set up an account (free), head over to stumbleupon.com. Click the 'Join Stumbleupon' link, and follow the instructions. Again, it's nice and quick.

The easiest way to use it is to install the toolbar (don't worry, it's a clean, unobtrusive one). Each time you come across an article, photo or video you like; just click the 'I like it' button in the toolbar.

Delicious

This site allows you to share your own Favorites/Bookmarks list with others. Each time you go to add a page to your Favorites or Bookmarks list, Delicious will share this with your friends.

To set up an account (free), head over to delicious.com. Click the 'Join Now' link, and follow the instructions. Once again, it's nice and quick.

The easiest way to use it is to install the add a button or add-on to your browser (you'll find a list of them here http://delicious.com/help/tools). Each time you go to add a page to your Favorites or Bookmarks, a small dialog will appear. Just click OK.

By the way, I use all of these sites myself. If you'd like to add me to your contact list, you'll find my profiles here :
